Meet The Man Behind The Number

On Wednesday, February 27, Stephen Jackson will make a special appearance at a Lucky store in El Cerrito.

The Warriors’ swingman will sign autographs and chat with fans from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the Lucky store located at 1000 El Cerrito Plaza.

Jackson Appreciates the Arts

Art is a subject which has lost favor in public schools due to its relevancy and cost; but, Stephen Jackson hopes to bring art back to the children through his school, Stephen Jackson Academy.

The cultivating of young souls did not end at the academy, though.

Jackson helped create a music label in his hometown called Secret Society Entertainment. The label works with local R&B/rap artists, encouraging them to speak about their experiences in the South.

One such group, F.U.P. Mob, released an album through the label in 2004 called The Law and Order Project.

Jackson, however, is not one to shy away from the mic as can be seen in the vid below.
